Hello LABALMA artists,
as we continue the exploration of Body I wanted to send a reminder about the submission deadline for catalog/exhibition exactly a week from today, July 15th.
I am attaching the guidelines for the submission below. Please email me with any questions at anat_litwin@14th Streety.org.
I will be traveling to Israel on the 16th of July to work on the catalog and collaboration in Tel Aviv, and will meet with Alma team and artists.
Looking forward seeing your artistic interpretation/expression of Body.
Please be sure that all info is submitted on time.

Format for Catalog:
>1. Format of art work: Image of Art work for Catalog – 5” x 5” max, 300 dpi.
>2. Format of Foot Note Text: Word Doc, 750 words max, 12 point font.
The Foot Note should include 2-3 textual resources /quotes related to your art work -at least one a Jewish text you studied and are inspired by, and one that is related to other cultural resources such as contemporary culture, poetry, art, philosophy, other.
Please describe in which way the text had influence on you and how it is translated to the work. Please be sure to have Hebrew texts professionally translated into English, and include the original text as well as a citation.

>3.‘About the Artist’ Page: Short Bio of 100 words, a link to your site, and a portrait picture 3” x 3”, 300 dpi
Please email all the info above for Catalog (Hi res image/art work, Foot Note text, Bio and Portrait picture) to contact person - Anat for LABA and Pony for Alma. Please use LABALMA submission in subject line. Do not send original art work.
Please share your work on-line and post your full submission under your name.
The LABALMA team will decide about final art work for the NY exhibition by Aug 1st and will notify you.
